Illinois Collaboration on Youth Partners with Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s All Children-All Families Initiative

One hopeful note that came from the research brief was about how a positive, accepting adult could be a protective factor for young people, and significantly cut their risk of suicide. NOSAC hires its first Executive Director to lead the organization into the future.

NOSAC is a national organization made up of State Associations who represent children and children services. Our purpose and mission are
to facilitate networking and to share information among our member associations. On a national level, we coordinate child welfare issues with other National Organizations and provide uncompromising leadership.

“From foster care to behavioral health, NOSAC’s collective voice is powerful, knowledgeable, and invaluable to the debate on children and youth centered policy and programming,” Janine said. “I am honored and excited to do the work of elevating its voice.”
